I've been working with Chris for the past year when I set a goal for myself to run the 2020 New York City Marathon. Since working with Chris, I've noticed such a huge difference in my strength, fitness ability and overall sense of self worth. He's an incredibly, kind, caring and dynamic trainer who really does go above and beyond to get to know his clients, develop personalized routines and above all, challenges us to see beyond our self imposed limitations. Before working with Chris, I was a member at Equinox but came to realize that the 1:1 trainer relationship was unparalleled, especially when you're working with someone as good of a person as he is a trainer.

I have trained with Chris for almost 20 years!  I have never enjoyed exercise and am not especially coordinated - Chris has helped me in so may ways - I am stronger, have better balance, am more toned, have better eating habits, walk more than I ever thought possible.  Chris’s workouts always vary so boredom does not set in and there are always new and different ways of doing things.  He keeps up with advances in his field.  Chris was an early adapter to training during the pandemic and I have not missed a session which has been so helpful for mind and body.

Virtual training with Chris has been an eye opener. What a great experience! I’m working out more than ever because working out at home is so easy and efficient. You just turn on the computer and you’re ready to go. 30 minutes later you’re done—sweaty and exhausted. The sessions are intense. Chris is very creative - he mixes up exercises and adapts all the sessions to your ability and needs. I’ve been working out together with my teenage son. Chris will have us do the same exercise but my son will get a harder version of it. We do side-by-side, alternating and partner exercises. It is a great bonding experience and Chris knows how to keep us both motivated and focused. Makes self-quarantine worthwhile!

Chris began training me a few years ago in my apartment building’s gym. Previously, I was a regular gym user but always worked solo. Under his always good humored tutelage, my workouts have become more focused and complete and I know that I have become more physically fit. Now, I’m 100 miles away from the city and with no gyms available, wasn’t sure what I’d do for fitness. When Chris suggested that we do virtual training, I knew it was worth a try but was dubious that, with the limited amount of equipment I had in my basement, we’d really be able to accomplish much. In fact, from the very first session, I was astonished how using some elastic bands, the stairs to the basement, chairs and (you’ll have to ask Chris how) the pinball machine in my basement, he was able to create workouts which challenge me and leave me feeling that we’ve accomplished a great deal.
